Now pillar pages are on the rise

Today you have to deal with web design, usability, machine learning and much more. We SEOs are increasingly becoming the interface between the digital departments in companies. Why? An important point is that SEO is so clearly important that any other department can argue with SEO to enforce their goals. Content marketing helps brand awareness? That's right. But if you tell the CEO that good content also ensures better rankings, then the internal budget will be released much faster. Both are true, but the Google argument often carries more weight than anything else. On-page SEO Technical on-page SEO is much more important today than it used to be.


In the past, you could use links to push even the worst online shop forward. Today, user signals Special Data are very important, but clean technology is just as important. Clean redirects, canonicals and good code have actually become essential. At the same time, it feels like there are fewer and fewer good on-page techies in the SEO scene. We need more here! Content Oh dear, the poor content! Even today, many texts are still 250 words long and cost less than a case of beer. The word has now gotten around that you can no longer rank well with this. At times, holistic landing pages came into fashion, promising eternally good rankings with text lengths of 5,000 words or more.




Unfortunately, the rankings didn't last forever; it felt like very long content URLs in particular were lost in the last updates.  It becomes particularly problematic when you create a concept for different website types, industries and markets. In no area do SEOs feel as clumsy as in the content area. My advice: Get support from professionals and don't let SEOs write texts, let copywriters write them.
