Highlight cover images are small but it’s still easy to mess up  the list of active phone numbersdimensions and create pixelated or badly cropped covers that look unprofessional.

Here are the important Instagram cover image size rules to follow:

Optimal dimensions: 1080 x 1080 pixels
Aspect ratio: 1:1 (square)
File format: PNG for graphics, high-quality JPG for photos
Maximum file size: 5MB
